One of the most important stages in construction is making sure the foundations are executed properly following the engineering standards and based on the soil test recommendations. Failure to do so may cause the foundations to fail, leading to cracks in the building.

1. Excavation work for the foundation level should be -1.5 m from the level of the surrounding streets, then leveling and compacting.

2. Rock replacement according to the results and recommendations of the soil report and compacting with a 25-ton roller compactor

3. Laying of "Geotextile" with a density of 300 gram/m2 and 30 cm overlap.

4. Laying of the "base course" layer according to the recommendations of the soil report, spray and compact with a 25-ton roller compactor.

5. Formwork for the Lean concrete using forms with a height of 10 cm.

6. Ensure the quality of the Lean concrete layer is free from defective cracks.

7. Formwork for foundations, ensuring wood quality, proper lining, and accurate sizes.

8. Inspect the foundation formworks' quality and positioning, the numbers and sizes of the steel bars, the distances between them, the concrete cover, and the quality of bending, binding, and fixing the column bars according to the axes in the plan.

9. Inspect the three-sided column necks formwork, their reinforcing steel bars, and their diameters, ensuring the quality of the wood and the proper lining of their axes, and their sizes, taking into account an increase of 2.5 cm on each side so that the concrete cover is 5 cm, and making sure of the basic reinforcing steel and the stirrups and their intensification.

10. Checking the alignment of the column necks and making sure that they are vertically straight, and at the same time re-checking the correctness of the axes.

11. Wrapping the vertical concrete elements with burlap immediately after removing all of the wooden forms and continuing to spray them with water twice a day for 5 to 7 days.

13. Inspection of the brickwork between the necks of the columns that precede the construction of the tie beam of the building to ensure the durability of the building and its ability to hold the backfill.

14. Ensure that the burial is done in layers with each layer not exceeding 40 cm, and water spraying, and tamping well for each layer before proceeding to backfill the next layer.
